Recent High School Acceptances
Class of 2025 Shield Reveal
Check out the high schools our 2025 graduates chose:
Our graduates stand out as being leaders and model citizens with the confidence and ability to successfully manage rigorous academics and the autonomy to take on greater personal responsibility in high school.
We are not a feeder school for any one particular high school, nor any one particular type of high school. Our graduates go to their best-fit school of choice, whether that be a local, private school, a STEM-focused public school, or a single-gender boarding school.
In 2024, our 28 graduates received 90 acceptances to 35 different schools. Those 28 graduates then ultimately ended up attending 19 different high schools. Similarly, in 2025, our 27 graduates selected 12 different best-fit schools.
Choosing the right high school is a collaborative effort between school and home, as parents work in partnership with our Director of High School Placement. With our holistic approach to educating the learner, St. Anne’s School educators know each student’s unique personality and individual strengths. As a result, we are able to guide each student toward a high school that will continue to challenge them academically, inspire their interests, and encourage them to be changemakers within the community.
Our graduates leave St. Anne’s School with a strong sense of who they are and what they can accomplish. They journey into their future with excitement and confidence.
Here’s How We Do It
Our Director of High School Placement, with support from the Head of Upper School, begins guiding parents and students in the high school selection process in the Seventh Grade.
Key transition and informative meetings are held for both parents and students in the fall, winter, and spring of the Seventh Grade year to help launch the high school search and support families in the beginning stages of this selection process.

In the spring, we host our annual High School Fair, exclusively for Seventh Grade students and parents, to meet with admission representatives from area private day and boarding schools as well as select public high school programs, to gather information, and to ask questions.
Parents meet with the Director of High School Placement all along the journey to discuss options, review programs, and seek guidance as needed.
At the start of the Eighth Grade year, parents are invited to attend a high school preparation meeting where specific details are provided to help support the application process to high schools.
Eighth Grade students attend a Seminar class during the first trimester to focus on all aspects of the application process, including : interview skills, essay writing tips, high school entrance exam test prep, and continued research on high schools of interest. St. Anne’s School administrators and faculty participate in mock interview practice during the fall of the Eighth Grade year to help students prepare for interviews.
Throughout the entire process, the Director of High School Placement is in personal contact with each student, family, and the respective admission directors.
Why We End in Eighth Grade
There is intention behind St. Anne’s School concluding in Eighth Grade. Research confirms that these years are critical for developing self-concept, identity, and habits of mind. In our Upper School, students are leaders—the “top dogs.” They gain the confidence, resilience, and sense of purpose they need before stepping into high school as capable, compassionate, and self-assured learners.
